    Brown Sugar BBQ Rodeo Ribs

    Time: 2 hours 40 minutes
    Serves: 6
    Ingredients
      • 2  ea racks baby back ribs (about 5 lb total)
      • 2  tbsp yellow mustard (optional, for helping the rub stick)
      • ⅓  cup Flavortown Brown Sugar BBQ Rub
    Directions
    1. Preheat the oven to 300°F.
    2. Remove the thin silver membrane from the back of the ribs, if still attached. Use a butter knife to lift an edge, then grip it with a paper towel and peel it off.
    3. Pat the ribs dry with paper towel. Rub or brush the mustard evenly over both sides of the ribs.
    4. Rub the brown sugar bbq mixture generously over both sides of the ribs, pressing to adhere.
    5. Wrap each rack tightly in aluminum foil and place them meat-side up on a large baking sheet.
    6. Bake for 2 ½ hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away slightly from the bones.
    7. For a caramelized finish, carefully unwrap the ribs and place them under the broiler for 2–4 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
    8. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing between the bones. Serve warm.
