Garlic Butter Steak Dinner
Ingredients
Directions
- Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes. Pat dry with paper towel, then season each steak with 1 tbsp of steak seasoning.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large cast iron or heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks. Sear for 3–5 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches between 130-135˚F for medium rare. Adjust time as needed. Transfer steaks to a plate and loosely tent with foil.
- Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp oil and the mushrooms. Sauté for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender.
- Add the butter and remaining 1 tbsp Ultimate Steak Butter rub to the mushrooms. Cook for another 30-60 seconds.
- Nestle the steaks back into the pan. Spoon butter and mushrooms over the top.
- Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley.
